In the realm of self control, a battle was fought,

For a journey of abstinence, lessons were sought.

A heart yearning for freedom, a soul on the mend,

A fragile vow made, to loneliness put an end.


Days turned into weeks, and months went by,

A fortress of willpower, reaching for the sky.

Temptations whispered, begging to be heard,

But resolve held firm, not a single word.


A world filled with pleasures, enticements abound,

Yet the path of abstinence was where strength was found.

Through countless nights of solitude and reflection,

A phoenix arose, breaking free from rejection.


But time marched on, and seasons did change,

As melodies of life began to rearrange.

Yearning deep within, a dormant desire,

A whisper in the wind, fueling a fire.


With trepidation and hope, the tides did turn,

Abstinence faded as new passions did churn.

A leap of faith taken, a new chapter begun,

A journey into the unknown, under a different sun.


For abstinence, once treasured, now gently released,

Allowing exploration, with heart fully pleased.

Embracing the beauty of life's sweet embrace,

While keeping memories of abstinence in its rightful place.


And so, my dear friend, as you break free,

From the chains that once held so tightly,

May you find solace in your newfound ease,

While cherishing the lessons from your days of abstinence.
